Immokalee Arts in Health Program Hosts Theater Production

In May 2025, the FSU Center for Child Stress & Health hosted a special theater production of The Wizard of Oz as part of our Immokalee Arts in Health initiative. This 8-week program focused on helping children build self-esteem and strengthen social skills through the performing arts.
We are deeply grateful to the Guadalupe Center for generously providing space for the final performance, which was a joyful and memorable evening for the children and their families.
Pictured are several event photos along with a picture of the cast and the theater director, Lurie Carrera.
