Florida State University and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare announced on Valentine's Day the first director of the new internal medicine residency program. Dr. Gregory Todd currently is the senior associate director for the internal medicine residency program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, which includes 96 residents. He'll join his new residency program full-time in May. Meantime, Todd will assist in preparing the new program for accreditation. Pending the decision of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education the program hopes to admit its first residents as early as July.
