Gary Goforth, M.D., will join the new family medicine residency program full-time in May. Meantime, he will assist the program as it progresses toward receiving approval from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Goforth currently is program director for a 30-resident, 19-faculty family medicine residency program in Greenwood, S.C.
