Dr. Shermeeka Hogans-Mathews, Dr. Nicole Bentze, DanTasia Welch, and Profilia Nord have been selected to present their lecture, “Mental Health Stigma, Help-Seeking Behaviors, & Barriers to Mental Health Care Among Family Medicine Physician Educators,” at the 2026 Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Conference on Medical Student Education in Charlotte, NC, January 29 -February 1, 2026. Their session will spark meaningful conversations about breaking stigma, overcoming barriers, and supporting the well-being of those who educate future family physicians.
