Message from the Program Director

OBGYN Residency Program at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola

We are excited about your interest in our FSU Sponsored OBGYN Residency Program at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.  Our residency program, which was established in 1964, has a long history of training well rounded ObGyn clinicians and surgeons.  We are a dynamic program focused on education and preparing our resident physicians for success throughout their career.

We are located in beautiful Pensacola, Florida—it’s an ideal place to learn, grow, and practice medicine.  At Ascension Sacred Heart, we’re embracing the future of women’s health through our commitment to a 21st-century residency model. This includes expanding our core generalist team, developing subspecialty exposure in FPMRS, REI, MFM, and GYN Oncology, enhancing our Women’s Care Clinic and clinical learning spaces, growing our resident complement, and advancing our resident research experience.

Before joining our ObGyn residency faculty, I served as the Obstetrics & Gynecology Medical Director at Eglin Air Force Regional Hospital. Here I started as the Assistant Program Director for three years before transitioning to my current role as Program Director. Thank you for considering our program. We look forward to getting to know you and are excited about the opportunity to mentor and support your professional growth.  It would be an honor for you to join our residency team and continue a legacy of excellence, compassion, and innovation in women’s health.
