What do you like about HMSS?

Beyond the individualized advising, unique volunteer opportunities, and helpful mentoring HMSS has given me, I have also gained a family of like-minded peers who are always there for me and always will be. Being surrounded by other people that understand the trials and triumphs of the premedical journey has helped me to stay positive and passionate about the future. This program has also opened up so many doors for me, by jump-starting my involvement at FSU and in the surrounding Tallahassee community.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I've always been told that if you find a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life. As a physician, I feel I could turn my love for learning and helping others into a lifelong commitment. By giving back to others to the best of my ability, I would also receive the ultimate reward in return- a fulfilling life spent making an impact.
