What do you like about HMSS?

I love the incredible experiences it provides, to meet people with similar goals and interests. The community here fosters growth in everyone creating a tight-knit family. Everyone is so kind and willing to help others, and I am so thankful to be a part of it.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I've grown up knowing that my family has had a difficult health system, especially since they have lived in villages in India and in the middle east. When I visited my relatives, they had no means of having medical attention with the nearest medical center being over 100 miles away. My grandfather grew up in a small village in India and resolved to go into medicine to help fix his family's situation and get them help, and he succeeded. He inspired me to go into medicine and travel to rural areas to help those people in need that are unable to find real medical help.
