Why do you want to go into medicine?

Ever since I visited Peruvian mobile clinics with my mother as a kid, I’ve become so fascinated with helping others through medicine. My experiences there have created within me a growing desire to support my community and form caring relationships with patients, especially in rural and underserved areas. I’m also quite passionate for science, and what better way to combine it with a love for service than medicine?
