What do you like about HMSS?

I love the variety of ideas, cultures, and passions in the room at every meeting. All of the scholars have strong visions for the future of medicine, and we are all compassionate about our community. I love the positive and always determined environment the scholars have created. The community we've fostered encourages everyone to grow with the extra support from the leadership, and every member of the society.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I believe health is the key to a better and brighter future. With good health, we can all live up to our potential without any physical burdens. I wanted to give my life to serving my community in a way I know will always be needed. With medicine comes healing and I believe when we are able to heal, we can grow into whatever we choose. I know this is true when it comes to our personal health. I chose medicine because I believe every community should be able to access medicine to ensure a fruitful life.
