In addition to the plethora of opportunities that we are provided, the sense of family within HMSS between the students and advisers is amazing.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

Medicine is a field that allows me to be myself and fulfill my purpose. Medicine allows me to be curious about the details and specialized aspects of our bodies while simultaneously helping and getting to know others. Medicine also gives me the opportunity to solve problems – sometimes very complicated problems – to ultimately ease or end suffering on a myriad of levels. I want to be a physician because I want to improve or restore the quality of life for those who need specific care.
