What do you like about HMSS?

My favorite part about the HMSS program is the tight-knit community of students with similar goals, values, and aspirations as me. I love how eager everyone is to help each other succeed, and I appreciate having such a close group of experienced students, peers, and faculty who can mentor me along my journey. I am excited to be a part of this amazing group committed to service and the betterment of each other.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I want to go into medicine because it allows me to combine my interest in science with my passion for serving others. I want to help improve the lives of people in my community and help treat those who need it the most. I am inspired to pursue a career in medicine where I can further develop my interests in human health and spend every day working to improve the lives of others.
