What do you like about HMSS?

I really appreciate how much I have learned about medicine through my participation in HMSS. The mentorship and opportunities from HMSS have taught me about the field of medicine, and I have learned so much from my connections to students and faculty in the FSU College of Medicine.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

Growing up with many friends and family members suffering from serious illness, I was constantly exposed to doctors and medicine. Seeing the impact these doctors had on the lives of patients and their families, I decided to pursue a career in pediatrics so that I can be a positive force in the lives of children as well as the field of medicine as a whole.
