What do you like about HMSS?

The people, hands down. It's a beautiful experience to be in a program where everyone shares common interests and goals, not to mention how incredibly kind everyone is.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

Coming from a humble background has taught me to be grateful for the basic necessities in life, namely health. Health is so important and yet so difficult to maintain in under developed countries and so I want to study medicine to help those countries, specifically my mother's home country of Honduras, who do not have the same resources we have in the States. Plus, there is no better reward than helping someone, so to make aiding the sick my profession would be an absolute blessing and honor.
