What do you like about HMSS?

The Honors Medical Scholars Society provides outstanding mentorship and a wealth of informative resources while surrounding me with a support system of peers who are equally passionate about medicine.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I want to know how it feels to relieve suffering, to improve someone’s quality of life, and to look into family members’ eyes as I tell them that their loved one is going to be okay. Medicine is a beautiful, ever-evolving art form with a purpose rooted in doing all one can to save lives. To practice it would be both an honor and a privilege.
