What do you like about HMSS?

What I like about HMSS are the speakers at the meetings. I love hearing about the medical field and how these people got to where they are today.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I chose the medical field because I love to help people. The rewarding feeling after helping someone in need is like no other. My greatest inspiration for wanting to go into the medical field is the orthopedic surgeon who performed my hip surgery. His love and excitement for what he does made me realize how much I want to feel like that when I go to work every day. Once I am in the medical field, I want to love waking up every morning to go to my job helping people.
