What do you like about HMSS?

My favorite part about HMSS is the community of like-minded individuals that surround me at every meeting and event. Through this program I have made close friends and connections that I would not have been able to find in other programs. I also enjoy getting to learn from the speakers who expand my mindset on views of healthcare and life in general.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I want to be in medicine to help people and make a difference. I believe this field provides opportunities to help people with emotional and physical well-being. Finally, the direction that modern medicine is moving in is very exciting to me and I want to be part of the mission of expanding public health, health literacy, and promoting people to be able to have independence in their health.
