What do you like about HMSS?

I love that HMSS gives us an opportunity to interact with other peers of similar interest and drive.  Also it provides opportunities for community service and outreach otherwise unavailable.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

It has always been a passion of mine to go into Pediatric Oncology ever since I volunteered in that ward in the hospital. Medicine gives me a chance to solve problems, do what I love, and provide service for people in need all at the same time.

Loren entered the Honors Medical Scholars Program in 2008 and is now a member of the FSU College of Medicine Class of 2016. She is at the Main Campus in Tallahassee for the 1st and 2nd years of med school.
