Our mission is to empower family physicians with advanced, comprehensive training in maternal and childcare. Grounded in Ascension's core value of service to the poor and vulnerable, we are dedicated to preparing our fellows to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical and surgical obstetrical care while serving as leaders in maternal health for their communities
Our one-year FM-OB Fellowship provides robust, hands-on clinical and surgical training designed to graduate highly competent, full-spectrum family physicians. Fellows work closely with expert faculty in both family medicine and OB-GYN to master operative obstetrics (including primary and repeat cesarean deliveries), high-risk maternal care, advanced ultrasound, and complex gynecological procedures.
