Fort Pierce campus awards scholarships

Scholarship Winners

Thanks to our many generous donors, for the twelfth year, the FSU College of Medicine Fort Pierce Regional Campus has provided scholarships to its medical students.  Scholarships were awarded recently to members of the Class of 2024.

Six scholarships from the Bernard Egan Foundation ($5,000 each) were presented by Bernadette Emerick to Yasmin Ali, Sheyla Moliner, Anabelle Rosenthal, Angelika Toquica, Cindy Rodriguez and Malika Parchment. 

Four Sai Ram Scholarships were provided by an anonymous faculty member and were earned by Joslyn Schipper, John Weng, Barbara Pierre Louis and Jessica Costero ($1250 each).

The Cleveland Clinic Martin Medical Executive Committee awarded a scholarship ($5000) to Tamisha Guzman, a student who will be specializing in pathology.

Sheyla Moliner also earned a scholarship from the Indian River County Medical Society, which was presented by Diego Maldonado, M.D.

The final scholarships, from the HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital Medical Executive Committee, were earned by Malika Parchment, Angelica Toquica, John Weng, Cindy Rodriguez and Tamisha Guzman.
