The Advising and Outreach Office at Florida State University College of Medicine provides academic advising and counseling to students interested in pursuing careers in the health sciences.
The Outreach Programs are located at the FSU College of Medicine, with pre-college programs in Collier, Gadsden, Leon, Madison, Okaloosa, Orange and Walton counties.

Sat. Oct 25 is an important day for FSU pre med students. Medical school admission representatives from each of the nine schools in Florida along with some of their current students will be here for the annual Medical School Dean’s Day event.
Any student interested in a medical career will benefit from attending. There will be presentations from FSU College of Medicine staff, a panel discussion made up of current med students from each of the Florida medical programs, tours of the FSU College of Medicine and small groups meetings with each of the Florida medical schools.
The is a $5 registration fee which includes a boxed lunch.
This event provides an opportunity to speak directly with admissions staff and current students from many of the medical schools many of you will be applying to. Deans Day begins at 9 am but be here by 8:45 to register. There is no obligation to stay for the entire day but there are events scheduled through 4:30 pm.
