Undergraduate Degree: University Of Florida
Mindy graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor's of science in exercise and sports sciences. She was in Air Force ROTC during undergrad, earning a minor in aerospace leadership. She is currently a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force and plans to practice Family Medicine. During her undergraduate education Mindy served as a director for five semesters in Alpha Epsilon Delta, coordinating and attending numerous hours of community service. She also spent time administering HIV tests through the county health department. She had the opportunity to shadow a Family Practitioner, as well as a Neurologist when she volunteered in the Movement Disorders Clinic. During her last semester in college she completed an internship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation research. She enjoys outdoor activities like camping and kayaking and spending time with her family. She decided to go to the Florida State University College of Medicine because of its location, its emphasis on family practice, and the early clinical exposure.
