Dr. Falk

Dr. Nathan “Nate” Falk has joined the College of Medicine as the founding residency director for the family medicine program at Winter Haven Hospital and an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health. Dr. Falk received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, and finished family medicine residency at Offutt Air Force Base/University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed a faculty development mini-fellowship at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where he also completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine. Dr. Falk is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He directed the Primary Care Sports Medicine service at Offutt Air Force Base, while on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Most recently, Dr. Falk has been an associate director of the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Program in Winter Park.  He newly received the 2018 Florida Academy of Family Physicians Exemplary Full-Time Educator Award. Dr. Falk will lead the development of the new family medicine residency program in Winter Haven. Welcome, Dr. Falk.
