Dr. Pomidor presents at Grand Rounds
By 2030, one in four drivers on the road will be over the age of 65. This is why both Dr. Alice Pomidor, Professor in the College of Medicine Department of Geriatrics, and the Safe Mobility for Life Coalition are invested in supporting the assessment and counseling of older adult drivers. November's Grand Rounds presentation featured Dr. Pomidor, who presented many facets of this complex issue, from risks related to driving disability for older drivers, how to use the Coalition's Plan for Older Drivers' Safety in the clinical setting, risk reduction interventions, and resources available for assessment and counseling.
