Sponsored by the Institute for Successful Longevity and the College of Medicine, Geriatrics faculty member Dr. Alice Pomidor recently joined other experts on a community panel on elder abuse at Killearn United Methodist Church this past November. Joining her was Lauchlin Waldoch of Waldoch & McConnaughhay, an Elder Law attorney, Dr. Karen Roberto, director of Virginia Tech's Institute for Society, Culture, and Environment, and Dr. Neil Charness, director of FSU's Institute for Successful Longevity. Audience members included community elders and their family members, along with College of Medicine dean Dr. John Fogarty.
