Kathryn Baughman Joins the Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health

Kathryn Baughman joined the Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health Friday, March 11, 2022, as the Community Engagement Research Manager. In this role, Ms. Baughman will oversee and manage the Clinical and Transitional Science Award (CTSA) Community Engagement core events and activities such as community/neighborhood meetings and events, educational forums, and conferences.  She will also aid in facilitating communication regarding Community Advisory Board Meetings, and other meetings with the University of Florida and other Clinical and Transition Science Institutes (CTSI’s) across the country.  Ms. Baughman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of South Alabama, her Master of Public Health at Florida A & M University and will complete her Doctor of Public Health degree with a specialization in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Florida A&M University next year.  She recently became certified in Public Health through the National Board of Public Health Examiners.  For more information on the University of Florida – FSU Clinical and Transitional Science Award, please visit https://ctsa.research.fsu.edu/.
