Why Should You Donate?

Your monetary or supply donations help to support care for rural, underserved populations in Nicaragua as well as a variety of other global health activities in which the Florida State University College of Medicine faculty, staff and students participate.

What Should I Donate?

Monetary donations are tax-deductible and strongly encouraged. These funds allow for greater flexibility with regard to specific supplies needed.  Donations can be made to the Florida State University Foundation Global Education Enhancement Fund (Foundation Fund # 07470).

Supply donations that are welcomed year round include:

 

  • Travel and regular size soaps*
  • Travel sized lotions
  • Travel size and full size toothpaste
  • Adult and child toothbrushes
  • Adult multivitamins

*travel size items can easily be collected from hotels when you travel!
