The Department of Geriatrics faculty mentor students for research through a variety of avenues. Three of these avenues include the Charles R. Mathews Geriatrics Education and Research Scholarships, the Bridge to Clinical Medicine Community Service Preceptorship and Research Experience, and the FSU College of Medicine Division of Research, Summer Research Fellowships.

Bridge to Clinical Medicine Community Service Preceptorship and Research Experience

The Bridge to Clinical Medicine major of the M.S. Program in Biomedical Sciences is designed to expand the pool of successful medical school applications from medically underserved, rural, and inner-city communities.  The following Bridge students have been mentored by Department faculty:
