To prepare our fourth-year students for residency, they participated in a 3 week course at the end of their undergraduate medical education. This course, "Residency Preparation for Boot Camp," included an afternoon to explore the complexities and necessities of hospital administration. It exposed our medical students to the roles of hospital administrative staff and taught the need for inter-professional relationships. Representatives from all five of our partner hospitals were on hand to discuss vital issues with the students.
