Job Description

Dr. Porter’s primary duties with the Office of Student Counseling Services are to provide academic and mental health counseling services to College of Medicine students.


Dr. Porter has expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of psychological disorders common to college-age students and adults and in evaluating children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD and learning disabilities. She has a strong background in educational psychology and in leading teams to make data-driven educational decisions. Dr. Porter’s research interests include the identification and accommodation of individuals with disabilities.
