Biosketch

Dr. Norton joined the Department of Clinical Sciences in October 2017. She was born and raised in Southwest Florida and attended Florida State University and the FSU College of Medicine (go Noles!). After completing her pediatric residency in Greenville, South Carolina, at Greenville Children’s Hospital, she was a stay-at-home mom to her three girls. Currently, she works in Gadsden County School-Based Clinics and will serve as lead pediatrician at the forthcoming FSU Primary Health Clinic in addition to teaching at the College of Medicine. Her interests include the community pediatrics, trauma informed care, the mother-baby dyad, breastfeeding, patient advocacy, human trafficking and global health.
