Paul Katz, M.D.

Dr. Paul Katz completed both his Bachelor of Science in anthropology and his M.D. at the University of Michigan. He then completed his residency at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center, and his geriatric fellowship from the State University of New York at the Veterans Administration.
Dr. Katz has been practicing geriatrics for 36 years. He chose geriatrics because there was a great need for geriatric specialists, the patients’ medical conditions are complex and it is a fairly new specialty.
Dr. Katz is the former President of the AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine Foundation. In his free time, enjoys running, reading, watching movies, and bird watching.
