M1 RuLE Learning Experience
The Rural Learning Experience, supported with funding from the Florida Blue Foundation, represents an initial foray by our incoming MS1 students into rural health. Specifically, each of the four Learning Communities board a bus to a different rural community within 1 hours drive of Tallahassee. With them on the bus are some incoming Bridge students, a couple of MS2 TAs, and faculty and staff.
RuLE began its life as REOP (Rural Education Opportunity Program) in 2010. This year, on Friday, June 3, the class of 2020 will be visiting Crawfordville in Wakulla County, Marianna in Jackson County, Quincy and Havana in Gadsden County, and Cairo in Hardy County, Georgia.
