Caroline was born in Tallahassee and has also lived in Winter Haven, Florida, where she completed high school and received her high school diploma and associate degree simultaneously. She received her bachelor's degree from Florida State University in exercise science with a minor in chemistry. As an undergraduate she was an active member of the Honors Medical Scholars Society, where she participated in community service projects that included medical mission trips to rural Ruskin, Florida. Additionally, throughout much of her undergraduate career Caroline volunteered weekly at the Tallahassee Senior Center, providing various health screenings for seniors in the center's Health Suite. Caroline was attracted to the Florida State College of Medicine's program due to its emphasis on patient-centered care for underserved populations. In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with family and friends, and attend Florida State football games.
