Simon graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and a minor in both biology and film studies in spring 2012. During his undergraduate career, Simon was inducted into various honor societies, such as the Seminole Torchbearers, Golden Key International Honour Society, the National Residence Hall Honorary, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, and a Rotary Club Honorary. At Florida State University, he held leadership positions during his two and a half years as a resident assistant at Landis Hall, a residence hall typically reserved for students in the Honors Program. After graduating, Simon pursued a Master of Science degree with a concentration in interdisciplinary medical sciences at the University of South Florida. Education aside, Simon has spent his life combining his passion for science (which came from seeing the classic film "Jurassic Park" as a child) with his desire to help others and pursued a career in medicine. In his free time, Simon can often be found watching a movie or trying his best to make others laugh.
