The 2007 FSUCares Homecoming 5K, which began outside the College of Medicine,
raised money to benefit FSUCares’ many local and international projects.
What:
FSUCares Homecoming 5K Run/Walk
FSUCares and the FSU College of Medicine are proud to
announce the annual Homecoming 5K Run/Walk! This year’s race
will begin at the FSU College of Medicine at 4:00 pm on Sunday,
October 25 and end at Warchant to kick off the FSU Homecoming
festivities. Following the race, all runners will receive free
admission to Warchant which will feature a live performance by a
musical guest. For all others, a donation of two canned food
items for Second Harvest is encouraged in lieu of an admittance
fee. Awards will be given to the top two runners in five year
age groups for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and
Grand Masters Male/Female.

Race will begin at the FSU College of Medicine at 1115 W. Call Street
When: Sunday, October 25 at 4:00 pm
Why:
The race is being organized by FSUCares and is the primary means by which our student organization is able to fund both its local and international projects. The money raised will help provide medical equipment and medical education supplies for both local and international underserved populations.
