The Florida State University College of
Medicine was selected by the
Donald W. Reynolds Foundation to receive a
four-year, $2 million geriatrics education grant in June
2006. This
generous funding is enabling us to create a
comprehensive program that impacts geriatric education
for medical students, residents, fellows, and,
ultimately, all practicing physicians in Florida.
The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation is a national
philanthropic organization founded in 1954 by the late
media entrepreneur for whom it is named. Headquartered
in Las Vegas, Nevada, it is one of the largest private
foundations in the United States.
