FSU COLLEGE OF MEDICINE TO GRADUATE FIRST Ph.D.
STUDENT
The Florida State University College of Medicine will mark an
important milestone in the development of its research program
Saturday with the graduation of its first Ph.D. student.
Dillon Fritz, who will receive a doctorate in biomedical sciences,
will participate in commencement ceremonies at 9 a.m. Saturday at
the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center. The College of Medicine
started the graduate training program in biomedical sciences in
2004, three years after the college welcomed its first class of
medical students.
Fritz has accepted a National Cancer Institute-funded fellowship at
the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. A reception to honor him will
take place:
