The Florida State University College of Medicine is committed to preparing you for a rewarding career in medicine. Careers in Medicine at FSU is designed to support students in their career planning through workshops, advising, and connecting with specialists in their area of interest.

 Careers in Medicine (CiM) is a career planning program developed by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) to assist students in choosing a medical specialty and applying and selecting a residency program. The CiM model is based on four steps:

Research Opportunities

From biomedical to behavioral sciences, there are countless opportunities at the FSU College of Medicine to enhance a medical education by participating in research. Research projects not only provide depth of understanding for aspiring physicians, but also create an additional opportunity to showcase skills and interests in the residency application process.
