Congratulations to the Orlando Campus Class of 2012 students who were recognized by the College of Medicine at this year's graduation ceremony.
Dr. Jessica Malmad was presented the "Access to Care Award," which is given to a graduate who shows a strong interest in "providing access to health care for underserved populations and who has volunteered at clinics or on internation medical missions for the underserved."
Dr. Coley Seriff received the "American Medical Women's Association Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Citation," which is awarded to women graduates in the top ten pecent of their graduating class.
Dr. Colby Redfield was given the "Medical Student Professionalism and Service Award." The American College of Emergency Physicians presents this award to "a medical student who has demonstrated outstanding patient care and involvement in medical organizations and the community."
Dr. Francoise Marvel received the "Regional Campus Dean's Award," given to the most outstanding student at each regional campus.
Dr. Coley Sheriff (pictured) and Dr. Michael Silverstein were among the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society inductees.
Dr. Natasha Demehri and Dr. Michael Silverstein were inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
