When it was created in 2000, the Florida State University College of Medicine represented the first opportunity in more than 20 years to build an entirely new U.S. medical school from the ground up. It has taken advantage of decades of advances in information technology, instructional design and facilities planning to create a bold new medical school for the 21st century.
The College of Medicine focuses on educating physicians to care for Florida's elderly, rural and medically underserved residents for generations to come.
The Florida Legislature has provided a solid foundation on which to build this state-of-the-art medical school, but your support is needed to help it continue to innovate. Please consider becoming a part of this vision of a healthy future for Florida.
