Dr. Meek Elected to the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Breastfeeding
Joan Meek, Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Pediatrics Clerkship Director at the Orlando Regional Campus, was recently elected to serve on the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Executive Committee Section on Breastfeeding.
The AAP established the Section on Breastfeeding (SOBr) to offer networking and educational opportunities for AAP members interested in breastfeeding promotion and management. Membership is open to fellows and residents of the AAP.
