Wes Tindell graduated magna cum laude in 2013 from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. During his time at Troy, Wes was involved in the Student Government Association, was president of both Alpha Epsilon Delta and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies, was a member of Tri Beta and Order of Omega honor societies, served as philanthropy chair and vice president of his fraternity, and was the 2013 Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award recipient. As an undergraduate, he developed a passion for the underprivileged through mission trips to Casa Para Ninos Aleluya orphanage in Guatemala and by working with disadvantaged children in Troy, Ala., through an after-school program. Wes enjoys saltwater fishing, international travel and painting. He chose the Florida State University College of Medicine because of its warm environment, dedication to patient-centered care and emphasis on meeting community needs.
