Biosketch
Dr. Gerend received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Minnesota and her Ph.D. in social psychology from Arizona State University. She joined the faculty at the Florida State University College of Medicine in 2003 as an assistant professor. Dr. Gerend’s research interests are in health psychology, cancer prevention, health communication, and smoking cessation. Dr. Gerend also has extensive experience and interest in statistical methods, data analysis, and research design.
