Roosevelt Rogers, III

Rural SSTRIDE
Coordinator
Roosevelt Rogers, III is a graduate of Florida A & M
University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health
Information Management. Mr. Rogers has been employed with the
College of Medicine (COM) since November 2004 as a Coordinator
of Rural and Community Outreach Programs. Mr. Rogers coordinates
all aspects of the rural outreach programs which include
approximately 105 middle and high school students, 10 mentors
and 4 teachers. He also serves a liaison between the College of
Medicine, rural county school boards, school administration and
rural communities. Mr. Rogers previously taught Middle Grade
Science for 4 years prior to working at FSU COM. Mr. Rogers
strongly believes that all students have a capacity to learn but
they sometime require motivation to maximize their potential.
