The American Medical Student Association has just increased
its cap to 50 members. We are an exclusive organization on the
campus of FSU and are dedicated to providing you the
surroundings and materials you will need to prepare yourself for
the journey into medical school.
We meet every two weeks in the College of Medicine at 7:00 PM
and meetings last generally an hour to an hour and a half. A
typical meeting will involve a guest speaker hand picked from
the medical community by us, so we are able to listen and learn
from someone in a field that interests us. Following the
speaker, the executive board will go over important business
topics and upcoming activities. Finally, we are free to grab
dinner or study. Joining this association and attending the
required meetings are the right step in a positive direction on
your map toward medical school.
