Thomas Blomberg, Ph.D.
FSU associate dean and professor of criminology and criminal
justice, Dr. Blomberg has published extensively and is an expert on
the causes of criminal behavior.
Janet Dilling, M.P.A.
Director of the Florida Public Affairs Center and the Askew
School’s Emergency Management Certificate Program, Ms. Dilling is past
president of the American Society of Professional Emergency Planners.
Dianne Harrison, M.S.W., Ph.D.
Dr. Harrison is FSU associate vice-president for academic
affairs and dean emerita of the School of Social Work.
Richard Hornick, M.D.
Dr. Hornick is an infectious disease specialist who has served
as a consultant to the U.S. Army on bioterrrorism issues.
Richard Hunter, PhD.
President/CEO of Food Technologies Inc. in Mulberry, Florida,
Dr. Hunter previously was Deputy Secretary of the Florida
Department of Health.
Myra Hurt, Ph.D.
Dr. Hurt serves as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate
Programs at the FSU College of Medicine.
John Kelsay, D.Min., Ph.D.
As professor of religion at FSU, Dr. Kelsay has authored a
number of books and articles including “Islam and War”and “Just War
and Jihad. ”
Kathy Mason, R.N., Ed.D.
Dean of the School of Nursing at FSU, Dr. Mason formerly served
as head public health nurse at the Florida Department of Health.
Richard Rasmussen
Mr. Rassmussen serves as vice president for legislative affairs
for the Florida Hospital Association, where he develops policy
recommendations on terrorism.
David, Sly, Ph.D.
Dr. Sly teaches at FSU’s Center for the Study of Populations and
is senior research fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention. He has written extensively on the areas of behavior,
social health issues and demography.
Christopher Teaf, Ph.D.
Dr. Teaf is associate director of both the Center for Biomedical
and Toxicological Research and Waste Management and the Institute for
International Cooperative Environmental Research at FSU.
John Todaro, REMT-P, R.N., TNS
John Todaro is a trained emergency technician and nurse and
serves as Director of Education for the Florida Emergency Medicine
Foundation.
Bernd Wollschlaeger, M.D.
The Governor’s appointee to the Florida Domestic Security
Taskforce and chair of the Florida Medical Association’s Taskforce on
Emergency Preparedness, Dr. Wollschlaeger is medical director of the
Aventura Family Health Center in North Miami Beach.
