The atrium became a dance hall one day in September when line dancers from Westminster Oaks retirement community visited. As part of the college’s geriatrics training, they demonstrated the benefits of repetitive movements – and got dozens of people to join in.

These smiling College of Medicine students were among the 119 members of the Class of 2013 who officially received their white coats Aug. 14.

Hispanic Business magazine recognized the diversity of the FSU College of Medicine in its September issue. It ranked the college No. 7 nationally on the list of best schools for Hispanics.

The College of Medicine's research program is at work addressing real-world problems and is attracting interest from private companies who see the value of products with the potential to help people live healthier lives.
