It has become a tradition at the Fort Pierce Regional Campus for the third-year students to present a gift to the graduating class in the form of a charitable donation. To honor the Class of 2017, the third-year students chose the We Care program in Vero Beach.

Their gift will help provide necessary medical treatment for medically indigent residents of Indian River County who otherwise could not afford healthcare services. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Indian River County Medical Society Foundation, d/b/a We Care Foundation of Indian River is supported by the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations.
