Powerful Tools for Caregivers - Recruiting Caregivers for Research Study

Purpose:  To research the effectiveness of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program for caregivers of individuals with dementia. 

Who can participate? Family caregivers who provide care to a friend or loved one with dementia.

Study tasks include: 

  1. Attending a 90-minute Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop once a week for six weeks.
  2. Completing 3 surveys at different times over the course of the study.
  3. Wearing an activity monitor (Fitbit) for one week before and one week after the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program.

Participant Costs and Compensation:  There are no costs for attending the workshop or completing the study's tasks. Study participants will be compensated for the time needed to complete the surveys.
